FedEx Institute of TechnologyThe University of Memphis Center for Information Assurance will be hosting the 2008 Cyber Security Expo at the FedEx Institute of Technology on October 16th. Information Assurance and Cyber Security experts will be on-site for lectures, networking and training to address emerging trends in cyber security.

Daniel J LarkinDaniel J Larkin, Chief of the Cyber Initiative & Resource Fusion Unit - FBI, Cyber Division (at the NCFTA) and former FBI Unit chief of the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is known as the “pioneer of partnerships” for the FBI and served as the keynote speaker for the 2006 Black Hat convention. Among UC Larkin’s many accomplishments, he co-authored the FBI's National Cyber Crime Strategy, initiated and managed the first FBI National Undercover Operation, targeting international Cyber Crime, and oversaw numerous Joint L.E Initiatives in which more than 500 individuals and organizations were prosecuted domestically and abroad.
